CAF Champions League: Baba Yara Stadium to host Kotoko’s clash with Kadiogo –

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) have announced that Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi will host the second leg of Asante Kotoko’s CAF Champions League preliminary round match against RC Kadiogo.

The announcement comes after the CAF Club Licensing Department granted Asante Kotoko permission to use the Baba Yara Stadium for home matches.

The club, GFA, and National Sports Authority worked together to ensure that the Stadium met the club licensing requirements.

The match is scheduled for Sunday, September 18.

The first leg will be played in Ivory Coast on Friday, September, with Kotoko hoping for a convincing win to make the return leg a mere formality.

Meanwhile, the match will be officiated by Ivorian referee Patrick Tanguy Jean Phillipe Vlei.

He will be aided by Koabenan Prosper Adiouman and Kalidou Bamba, as well as Kouassi Frederic Francois Biro.

The Match Commissioner will be Gambia’s Langtombong tombong Tamba, and the COVID- 19 Officer will be Christiana Baah.
