Nzema Kotoko are close to reaching an agreement former Karela United trainer, Johnson Smith as new head coach.
Kickoff Ghana can confirm that talks between Johnson Smith and Nzema Kotoko are advanced with an agreement expected to be reached between both parties possible by Monday July 25.
Ahead of his imminent move to the Division One League side, his club, Bekwai Youth Academy have named Kobina Amissah as Smith’s replacement.
Smith does not have a CAF license A certificate to coach in the top-flight which forced his move away from Asante Kotoko despite leading the club in the interim in 2021.
