Ghanaian Joe Dodoo started from the bench despite heroics against Aberdeen last week

Ghana international Joe Dodoo was surprising left out of the Rangers team that won 2-0 Partrick Thistle.

After an impressive performance against Aberdeen last week, Joe Dodoo has again missed out on a space in the Rangers starting line-up.

Dodoo came off the bench at Pittodrie and tore the Dons to shreds; setting up a goal, scoring one himself and hitting the bar with another fierce effort.

Many fans reckoned that cameo was enough to get him a start at Ibrox. The 21 year old has played 19 times for the Gers but only three of those appearances have been from the start. The last time he started a game was way back in November away to Hearts.

The Ghanaian was however introduced in the 64th minute with his side home and truly dry.
