Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Timmo Hardung has praised the “maturity beyond his years” of Ghanaian teenager Lawrence Setordjie after the 18-year-old completed a move from Accra Lions to the Bundesliga club.
Setordjie, who captained Accra Lions despite his age, has joined Frankfurt following a string of assured performances in the Ghana Premier League that have underlined his reputation as one of the country’s most promising young midfielders.
The transfer marks a significant step in the player’s career and further cements Accra Lions’ emerging status as a key producer of talent for European football.

Setordjie has been a regular in the Ghanaian top flight over the past two seasons, making 27 league appearances for Accra Lions.
