The Football Association has announced plans to stage a CAF License B Coaching Course early next year through its Coaching Education School.

The programme is scheduled to run from February 2 to 11, 2026, at the GFA Technical Centre in Prampram.

A total of 25 coaches will be admitted in line with the revised CAF Coaching Convention guidelines.

Participants will complete three separate modules, each lasting 10 days, with a compulsory one-month internship between modules to deepen practical exposure.

The course structure is aimed at blending classroom instruction with real-life coaching environments.

Both theoretical and practical aspects of modern coaching will be covered during the programme. Areas of focus include data and video analysis, effective communication, the Laws of the Game, CPR, and sports psychology.

The sessions will be facilitated by experienced and highly qualified instructors. Oversight of the course will be provided by the Director of Coaching Education, Dr Prosper Narteh Ogum, under the supervision of GFA Technical Director Professor Joseph Kwame Mintah.

The initiative forms part of the GFA’s long-term plan to produce well-trained coaches with globally recognised qualifications
