Ghanaian goalkeeper Richard Ofori kept a clean sheet for AmaZulu FC in their 2-0 victory over Cape Town City in the South African Premier Soccer League.

Elmo Kambindu broke the deadlock in the 22nd minute, giving the hosts the lead before Nkosikhona Radebe doubled the advantage in the 35th minute to seal the win.

Ofori maintained his solid performance in the second half, denying the visitors despite their dominance in the final 15 minutes on Sunday.

No clear scoring opportunities were created in the first 30 minutes at the Princess Magogo Stadium in South Africa.

The former Orlando Pirates shot-stopper was outstanding, making crucial saves for his side and earning a 7.3 rating from sports website Football.com.

The 31-year-old goalkeeper has featured in 15 games this season, keeping six clean sheets, and will be looking to continue his impressive form for AmaZulu.

AmaZulu FC currently sit in 5th place with 29 points after 20 games in the ongoing 2024/25 South African Premier Soccer League (PSL).
