Ghanaian midfielder Shaka Mawuli Eklu found the net for Arezzo but his strike was not enough to prevent a 1-2 defeat to Carpi in the Italy Serie C on Tuesday
Philippo Puletto shot Carpi into the lead just 11 minute of the game but Mawuli levelled up five minutes later to end the first half.
After the recess, Erik Gerbi scored the second goal for the home side on the 64th minutes to finish the game with Carpi picking all the maximum points.
Eklu has had a difficult time, scoring only one goal in twelve matches for his side.
The 26 years old joined Arezzo on loan from Sudtirol.
