Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey marked his 100th Premier League appearance for Arsenal in their thrilling 2-2 draw with Manchester City on Sunday at Etihad Stadium.

Since joining Arsenal in 2020, the midfielder has battled injuries, missing crucial games for Mikel Arteta’s side.

However, his resilience and determination have paid off, cementing his place in the team.

Interestingly, Partey’s 50th and 100th games for Arsenal came against Pep Guardiola’s side.

Meanwhile, the encounter saw Manchester City taking an early lead through Erling Haaland’s clinical finish.

But Arsenal responded by equalizing courtesy of Calafiori’s 22nd-minute strike. Gabriel Magalhães then headed the Gunners into a 2-1 lead before halftime.

However, Manchester City’s pressure eventually paid off, with John Stones scoring a late equalizer to salvage a point for the defending champions.

Arsenal ended the match with 10 men as Leandro Trossard received a second yellow card.

Arsenal’s draw keeps them in fourth place with 11 points, just two points behind league leaders Manchester City.
