Accra Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara has urged fans to rally behind the team, emphasizing unity and constructive criticism over insults.
The Ivorian’s plea came after Hearts secured their first win of the 2024-2025 Ghana Premier League season, defeating Bechem United 2-0 at the University of Ghana Stadium.
Second-half goals from Ransford Mensah and Hamza Issah sealed the victory, alleviating pressure on the team following losses to Basake Holy Stars and Kpando Heart of Lions.
“The fans, we are working for them. You can criticize, say everything you like but please the insults…it’s not the things we need.
“The unity, all the pieces of Hearts of Oak, all the structures to be together. When we are together, I think we can get good results. Hearts of Oak has a big project.” Ouattara opines.
The Phobians are sitting 10th on the league table with 3 points after three games and they will face Nations FC in their next clash at Kumasi.
