Basake Holy Stars, who had impressively beaten Hearts of Oak 1-0 in their opening match and drawn with Dreams FC, suffered their first defeat in their debut top-flight campaign.
Bibiani Gold Stars, with a game in hand against Samatex FC, sit atop the league table with 6 points.
They will face Heart of Lions next.
