Ghana Premier League Champions Fc Samartex 1996 are set to take on Victoria Fc of Cameroon in the first preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
The Samreboi based side will travel for the first leg, which will take place between August 16-18, 2024, while the second leg is expected to take place in Ghana between August 23 -25, 2024.
Samartex punched their ticket to the continental showpiece after emerging victorious in the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.
Meanwhile, the last Ghanaian side to participate in the competition was Medeama Sc, who went all the way to the group stages last season but failed to advance further.
Victoria Sc, on the other hand, have been on the rise since gaining promotion from the lower tier of Cameroonian football prior to the commencement of the 2023/24 season.
