Kotoko not that bad this season - Ransford Osei

Asante Kotoko striker Ransford Osei believes the team’s position in the Premier League is not as bad as being purported.

The champions are currently fifth with 16 points – four behind leaders Medeama after 10 rounds of matches.

Many hold the view that the team is in decline especially with the lack of bite up front.

But the striker who is yet to open his season’s account thinks otherwise.

“I don’t think we are doing badly at all. Remember we are still unbeaten this season,” he told MTNFootball.com.

“We have also been playing well just that we have been unable to convert our chances.

“Certainly we are not excited by our position in the league, we believe we can do more.

“But it is a gradual process and I believe if we keep working hard and are patient the wins will come.”

Kotoko next hosts All Stars when the Premier League resumes from its one week break on Sunday.
