Ghana FA to announce scouts for Nations Cup

The Ghana Football Association will settle on three scouts for the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations, MTNFootball.com understands.

Veteran trainer Francis Oti Aketeng, ex-Black Stars defender Joe Addo and Ibrahim Tanko, who is assistant coach at Bundesliga II side FC Cologne, are reported to be on the wish list.

Akenteng and Tanko acted as scouts for Serbian trainer Goran Stevanovic at the 2012 the Nations Cup finals in Gabon and Equatorial Guinea.

They are to assist Kwesi Appiah’s and his backroom staff hatch up plans to face their opponents at the finals.

The Ghana federation is expected to disclose the identities of the scouts befoe the team pre-tournament camping gets under.
