Asante Kotoko midfielder Nicholas Mensah says he and his teammates will do everything possible to annex the Ghana Premier League title at the end of the season.

The Porcupine Warriors after shambolic start to the campaign, improved tremendously to finish third in the first half of the domestic top-flight campaign.

The Premier League bounces back this weekend and Kotoko will travel to face Heart of Lions in the week 18 fixture.

Speaking to the club’s media, Mensah, who recently returned from suspension urged the fans to rally behind the team as they aimed to win the league title at the end of the campaign.

“We expect our fans to unite and rally behind us. We assure them that we will win the Ghana Premier League title. We have been talking to ourselves and we will do everything possible to win the title at the end of the season”

He was in action when Kotoko defeated Nsoatreman FC to annex the J.A Kufuor Cup last Sunday.

The talented midfielder was handed a 12 months ban after he was found guilty of having double identity.

Nicholas Mensah is the same player also registered as Louis Mensah with former team Damasua Delsanco FC.

Aduana FC filed the complaint against Asante Kotoko after their Ghana Premier League clash in 2023 February, insisting the Porcupine Warriors have fielded an unqualified player.

After weeks of checks by the Disciplinary Committee of the FA, it was found that Kotoko were not the guilty party and the player and Delsanco were charged.
