Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Coffie wins Turkish Cup with Sivasspor – Ghana Latest Football News, Live Scores, Results

Ghanaian midfielder Isaac Coffie ended his season in style after Sivasspor won the Turkish Cup on Thursday evening. 

The former Genoa player was an unused substitute as Sivasspor beat Kayserispor in a thrilling encounter at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium.

The game which was forced to extra time saw Kayserispor take a first half lead through Ramazan Sivelek, but Aaron Appindagoye leveled on the hour mark.

Ivorian forward Alain Max -Gradel gave Sivasspor the lead in the 95th minute before Ilhan Parlak equalized in the 107th minute.

Pape Moussa Konate stole the winner with three minutes of extra time left, as Sivasspor were crowned Cup Champions.

Coffie’s compatriot Isaac Attamah played 100 minutes and was replaced by Miguel Felipe Nunes Cardoso for Kayserispor.

The 30-year-old made five appearances in the Cup competition, and played 28 times in the Turkish Super Lig.

Sivasspor will face Trabzonspor in the Turkish Super Cup before the start of next season.
