Bechem United impressed on Saturday to beat Nations Football Club 3-0 in the Ghana Premier League.
The Hunters today hosted the team from the Ashanti Region at the Nana Gyeabour Park in a Week 16 encounter of the 2023/24 Ghanaian top-flight league campaign.
In the exciting encounter that ensued between the two teams, Bechem United came out tops at the end of the 90 minutes.
The hosts scored the opening goal in the 16th after a penalty was awarded to the team.
Experienced forward Augustine Okrah stepped up and converted the penalty kick from 12 yards.
That goal separated the two teams at halftime before a red card weakened Nations more.
As a result, the visitors conceded two more goals in the second half.
Goals from Emmanuel Avornyo and Francis Acquah sealed the 3-0 thumping victory for Bechem United at the end of the 90 minutes.
The win has taken Bechem United to 5th on the Ghana Premier League table.
