Ghana youngster Kwesi Appiah set to leave Crystal Palace for Aldershot Town

English side Aldershot Town are set to sign Crystal Palace’s Ghanaian striker Kwesi Appiah on a one-month loan deal.

The 22-year-old, who joined the Eagles from Margate in January, has made four appearances this season.

Shots boss Dean Holdsworth: “Kwesi comes highly recommended and I am looking forward to working with him.

“Whilst we have other strikers out on loan acquiring valuable game time, the arrival of Kwesi gives us another option and a month to look at him.”

Appiah told the Crystal Palace website:  “I thought it would be best if I went somewhere out on loan to get some games under my belt.

“To play some League football is important so hopefully I can get some goals.”
