Midfielder Christopher Scott has reveled that his decision to join Hannover 96 was for development purposes.
Scott signed for the German tier two outfit on a season-long loan from Belgium champions Royal Antwerp on transfer deadline day.
“I had different options, but afterwards talking to those responsible of Hannover 96, I quickly made my decision that I want to play for Hannover,” He told the club’s media.
“They tried extremely hard to look after me. In the discussion they showed me where the see me and my strengths, but also outlined how they imagined my further development. That was very convincing.
The 21-year-old forward passed through the Bayern Munich acadamy player developmental system before joining Royal Antwerp in Belgium Jupiler Pro league two seasons ago.
He featured 22 times in the 2022/23 Belgium Jupiler Pro league and scored once for Royal Antwerp.
