AFC Bournemouth sign Ghanaian attacker Antoine Semenyo

English Premier League side AFC Bournemouth have signed  Ghana international Antoine Semenyo from Bristol City in the January transfer window.


The 23-year-old signed a four-year contract worth £10.5 million with the Vitality Stadium outfit after passing a mandatory medical examination on Thursday evening.


Semenyo is expected to be unveiled by AFC Bournemouth as the club’s new signing in the coming hours.
 
Semenyo, who attracted interest from several clubs including Southampton and Burnley, has scored seven goals in 24 appearances across all competitions for City this term.
 
The versatile forward made two appearances from the bench for the Black Stars in Qatar, but was unable to prevent his side from exiting the tournament before the knockout stages as Ghana finished bottom of Group H
