Ghana Premier League striker Ibrahim Laar has revealed that he harbours a dream to play for Spanish giants Real Madrid in the near future.
The 25-year-old scored a quicksilver brace in the first-half to help Michael Osei’s side to claim a 2-1 win over bottom-placed King Faisal on Sunday.
Laar, who spent two seasons at Danish side Næstved Boldklub, netted 10 times in 25 outings for relegated Eleven Wonders last season in the Ghanaian top-flight.
After discovering his scoring boots against King Faisal the former Danbort FC striker has spoken of his ambition to play for Real Madrid.
“My ambition is to play for Real Madrid or join Borussia Dortmund at some point. I’m working towards it,” he told Enoch Worlanyo on Asempa FM’s SportsNite show.
“I played in Denmark previously and I am working strongly to return to Europe,” he added.
His brace on Sunday has lifted him to a joint second berth on the GPL top-scorers chart.
