Head coach for the Black Stats of Ghana, Otto Addo has admitted that the encounter against Mali in the qualifiers for the 2026 FIFA World Cup will be tough.
According to him, his team understands what is at stake and has prepared accordingly for the challenge that awaits in Bamako.
“Surely I think we are ready for the game. I was very satisfied with how the players understood with how the players want to play.
”This is going to be a tough match away in Mali but we also have the quality to compete against them although we didn’t have a good AFCON. We have the players to get three points from Mali,” Coach Otto Addo said on Wednesday.
The Black Stars head coach was speaking at the pre-match press conference.
The World Cup qualifier between Mali and Ghana will be played on Thursday, June 6, in Bamako.
The game will kick off at 7pm.
