The Black Stars have returned to Ghana following a 1-1 draw with Angola in Luanda during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Despite having one group game left against Niger, Ghana’s hopes of qualifying for the tournament have been dashed with the team failing to secure a win in their last five matches.

The contingent, comprising 23 players, 10 technical staff, and Ghana FA officials, landed at the Kotoka International Airport on Friday night.

The team is set to hold a recovery training session in preparation for the final clash against Niger.

Ghana will face Niger at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday, November 18, with kick-off scheduled for 16:00 GMT.

The Black Stars currently sit at the bottom of Group F with just three points, trailing behind Angola, Sudan, and Niger.
