Aduana FC claimed a 3-1 win over Real Tamale United at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park in Dormaa on Sunday afternoon in match week 24 of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League.
The victory means the Fire boys end their two-game losing streak following defeats to defending champions Medeama and Great Olympics.
The Northern Blues are now unable to build on their win against Accra Lions in their previous outing – their first win in five games.
The win means Aduana maintain their place in third on the table while RTU also remain bottom of the league.
Sam Adams gave the home side the lead after just five minutes into the game before netting his second 22 minutes later.
RTU pulled one back through Owusu Afriyie in first half stoppage time to end the half 2-1 in favour of the hosts.
Sam Adams completed his hat-trick with an 88th minute penalty to end the game 3-1 and Aduana are back to winning ways.
