Ghanaian forward Christian Joe Conteh scores to seal 2-0 victory for VfL Osnabruck against Greuther Furth

Germany-born forward of Ghanaian descent, Christian Joe Conteh was on target for VfL Osnabruck on Sunday afternoon as the team recorded a 2-0 win over Greuther Furth.

The 24-year-old started for his team in the Round 28 encounter of the German Bundesliga 2 today.

The hosts started the game very well and scored after three minutes through Erik Engelhardt to take a deserved lead.

Although Greuther Furth will recover from the early setback to play well, the side could not take their chances.

Later in the 20th minute, Christian Joe Conteh got his name on the scoresheet to seal a 2-0 win for VfL Osnabruck at the end of the 90 minutes.

With his goal today, Christian Joe Conteh now has four goals in the German Bundesliga 2.

He has also assisted two goals for his team in the league after making 25 appearances.

Despite the win, VfL Osnabruck remains bottom of the German Bundesliga 2 standings.
