Medeama SC displayed outstanding resilience on Wednesday afternoon to beat King Faisal 3-2 in the Ghana Premier League.
The Week 15 encounter of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season was played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium today.
In the pulsating encounter, Abdul Latif scored in the 12th minute to give King Faisal the lead.
Less than 10 minutes later, Medeama SC replied when Nurudeen Abdulai also equalised to restore parity to the game.
Before the break, the Yellow and Mauve outfit took the lead through defender Vincent Atinga.
Later in the second half, captain Kwasi Donsu scored to increase the lead for Medeama SC in the 49th minute.
While King Faisal will net a second goal via Joseph Gordon, the team could not complete a comeback and suffered a 3-2 defeat at the end of the 90 minutes.
