Asante Kotoko head coach Karim Zito says his main focus is keeping his players fresh and mentally sharp as they prepare for Wednesday’s outstanding match-week three clash against Basake Holy Stars at the AAK II Arena.
Zito believes effective guidance and proper rest are now crucial, especially with fixtures coming in quick succession.
He explained that managing the squad’s workload has become a priority:
“The most important thing is their resting period. I make sure they recover well for the next assignment. Once you allow yourself to be recruited by any institution, that becomes your destiny, and you must give your best. We are here to work for Asante Kotoko, change the narrative, and achieve our target,”
Kotoko head into the fixture in excellent form. Their draw with FC Samartex extended their unbeaten run to 10 league matches, making them the only side yet to suffer defeat this season.
