Belgian outfit Cercle Brugge has announced signing of Ghanaian midfielder Lawrence Agyekum on a season-long loan.
The 20 year old joined the Green and white lads from Austrian outfit Red Bull Slazburg temporarily with an option to buy.
The club made the pronouncement to their social media handle on Thursday
“Cercle Brugge and Austrian Red Bull Salzburg have reached an agreement on the temporary transfer of midfielder Lawrence Agyekum. The 20-year-old Ghanaian will be rented until the end of this season, with a purchase option.
“Lawrence Agyekum (1.74m) is a midfielder who can also play at right back. He was trained at the Ghanaian ‘West African Football Academy’ before making the switch to RB Salzburg in 2022. This was followed by a loan spell at Austrian FC Liefering, for which he played a total of 49 matches, scored 3 times and provided 4 assists.

Lawrence is a former player of West African Football Academy.
