Headcoach of Sudan national team, Kwesi Appiah has reflected on the draw of the 2025 African Cup of Nations Qualifier stating he wishes Ghana and Sudan qualify.
The four times African Champions are drawn in Group F alongside Sudan, Angola and Niger after the draw was held in South Africa in Johannesburg on Thursday.
“I’ve always said there [are] no minnows in football now,” Kwesi told 3sports.
“It is really important that any team you meet, you prepare very well and make sure you have the right team to try and win the day.”
Kwasi, who had two stints with the Black Stars, has lead Sudan to the top of group B of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, winning three of the four matches played.
