Youngster Kobbie Mainoo joins Manchester United teammates to pays tribute to legend Sir Bobby Charlton

Kobbie Mainoo, English-born Ghanaian midfielder has joined Manchester United teammates in signing book of condolences for the late Sir Bobby Charlton.

The legendary Manchester United and England player passed away at the age of 86 on October 21.

Mainoo, who recently recovered from an injury he sustained during pre-season, was accompanied by captain Bruno Fernandes and Jonny Evans during the signing.

Sir Bobby Charlton played a pivotal role in the history of English football and was a member of the squad that secured the 1966 World Cup.

Mainoo is becoming a household name in Manchester United team and could make his season debut in the UEFA Champions League game against Copenhagen on Tuesday.

The 18-year-old midfielder impressed manager Erik ten Hag during pre-season and was set for a huge role in the new season before the injury setback.

His return to training is morale-boosting for the struggling Manchester United as they seek to turn around things in the UEFA Champions League.
