Ghana Premier League outfit Berekum Chelsea have completed the signing of highly-rated defender Benjamin Awuah Mensah from Asekem Football Club
Benjamin penned down a three-year deal with the Blue and White lads until 2027.
The 20-year-old defensive sensation caught the attention of Berekum Chelsea’s scouting team with his outstanding performances last season in the Access Bank Division One League, where he played a crucial role for Asekem FC.
Benjamin made 30 appearances and eight assists last season.
His addition to Berekum Chelsea’s squad is expected to significantly bolster the team’s defensive capabilities ahead of the upcoming Ghana Premier League season, which is scheduled to kick off on September 6.
Berekum Chelsea will begin their campaign with an away fixture against newly promoted side Vision FC.
