After the short term FIFA international break, most of the European top flight resumed over the weekend and kickoffghana.com has gathered some data of Ghanaian players who featured for their various clubs.

Belgium Jupiller Pro League

David Atanga replaced Fraser Hornby in the 78th minute for Ooestende in their 2-0 home defeat to Genk and was eventually sent off in injury time.

At the Jan Breydel Stadium, Denis Odoi played the entire duration for Club Brugge KV in their 3-0 home victory over KV Mechelen whiles Kamal Sowah lasted 77 minutes in the game with an assist.

Midfielder Majeed Ashimeru played full throttle for Anderlecht in their 0-1 home defeat to Charleroi at the Lotto Park on Sunday.

Elisha Owusu came from the bench to replace Hong Hyun Seok, in Gent’s 4-3 loss to Cercle Brugge KSV at the Ghelamco Arena.

As Mabarak Wakoso serve his ban, goalkeeper Manaf Nuredeen watched the match from the stands whiles Issac Nuhu was substituted for Charles Cook in the 64 minute as they secured a 1-0 victory on the road.

England Premier League

Black Stars vice captain Thomas Partey was on target for Arsenal in their 3-1 win over Tottenham Hotspurs at the Emirates Stadium.

Abdul Samed Salis lasted the entire duration as his side Lens defeated Olympique Lyon 1-0 at the Stade Bollaer Deleis.

Also, Alexander Djiku was at the heart of defence for 90 minutes but was unable to stop his side from losing 1-3 to Rennes at Stade de la Meinau.

Bundesliga

Daniel Kofi Kyere scored the second goal for Freiburg and lasted for 69 minutes as they won by 2-1Mainz 05.

Spanish La Liga

Inaki Williams netted his third goal on Friday as Bilbao thumped UD Almeria 4-0 at the Estadio San Mames.

Joseph Aidoo lasted the entire duration for Celta Vigo as they lost 1-0 to Real Betis at the Estadio de Balaidos.

Baba Iddrisu played the entire 90 minutes against FC Barcelona as his side Real Mallorca lost 1-0 courtesy Robert Lewandowski’s curler.

 

Kevin-Prince Boateng, Felix Afena Gyan, Afred Duncan, Emmanuel Gyasi, Mohammed Kudus, and a slew of others received minutes from their respective clubs across the various top five European leagues.
