Black Stars assistant coach George Boateng says his side is full of young players who can win trophies in the future for the nation.
Ghana couldn’t progress to the next stage of the FIFA World Cup after defeats to Portugal and Uruguay, having won against South Korea.
It’s been over four decades ever since Ghana won an international trophy.
But despite the early World Cup exit, Boateng is quite positive about the future.
“We have some good outstanding and young talented players that needs to be molded,”
“Hopefully in the future we have a very good team that can play and to try and win trophies at the international level.” He said in a video shared on his Instagram page analysing the team at the Mundial.
“We could see that Ghana has some outstanding players, players that will take the nation forward in the Afcon qualifiers and the main tournament in 2024.” George added.
The Black Stars will be looking forward to continuing the 2023 AFCON qualifiers which is scheduled to resume in March.
