Black Stars midfielder Abdul Samed Salis has thanked Ghanaians for their support following a 3-2 win over South Korea in the 2022 World Cup on Monday.
The RC Lens played a vital role as Otto Addo’s side edged the Asian country in the five-goal thriller at the Educational City Stadium.
Ghana raced to a two goal lead in the first half courtesy of goals from Mohammed Salisu and Mohammed Kudus.
However, the Koreans fought back in the second half as Cho Gue-Sung headed twice in the space of three minutes to restore parity.
Kudus scored the match-winner for the Black Stars in the 63rd minute to keep their hopes of reaching the 1/16 stage alive.
Ghana will try to book their place in the next round when they go head-to-head with Uruguay on Friday, while South Korea must bounce back when they take on Portugal.
Abdul Samed took to his social media page to thank Ghanaians after the game;
