Athletic Bilbao has handed Nico Williams the iconic number 10 jersey ahead of the 2024/25 season.
Williams, who previously wore the number 11 shirt, makes the switch as the club unveils its new squad numbers.
The 22-year-old Spain international of Ghanaian descent has been in sizzling form and attracted interests from top European giants including PSG and Barcelona.
However, it seems Williams is set to stay at Athletic Bilbao, where he’s been entrusted with the prestigious number 10 jersey.
Last season, Williams made 31 appearances in La Liga, scoring five goals and providing 11 assists.
He also played a crucial role in Spain’s triumphant Euro 2024 campaign, helping the team defeat England in the final.
