The legendary former Ghana international, Wilberforce Mfum, has pointed fingers at the players of Asante Kotoko for the club’s recent downturn in the Ghana Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors have failed to secure a win in their last five matches.
This unfortunate streak has led to a significant drop in the league standings, where they now sit at 9th position.
In a interview with Akoma FM, Mfum did not mince words, attributing the club’s poor performance directly to the players.
“The only advice I have for the players is that before wearing Kotoko’s jersey, they must be dedicated and have the team at heart, always play for the team with full commitment, and not with lazy attitude”.
“I think the players have never been beaten before, they should have been beaten by the fans after losing streak so they understand their worth. How can you be bought with large sum of money and then given such a poor performance? He quizzed.
