Ghana coach Otto Addo did not name Thomas Partey, Alexander Djiku and Mohammed Kudus in his lineup for the Switzerland friendly.
The three lads were not used as substitutes in the game as Antoine Semenyo, Alidu Seidu, Joseph Aidoo, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Daniel Kofi Kyereh and Osman Bukari had some minutes before the trip to Qatar.
Otto Addo has made known his decision to rest Kudus and Partey in the 2-0 win over Switzerland.
“It’s good for the team to see that we have a lot of players. As a Coach I will have to decide in the end, we have a lot of possibilities, and this gives us confidence.
“I want the team to stick together and come together despite somebody playing or not.
“Hopefully we have a lot of games at the World Cup and then I hope that everybody will get the chance to play but for me it’s important to see that everybody can play at this level.”
Most Ghanaian football fans and pundits had envisaged a 3-5-2 formation with Djiku joining Daniel Amartey and Mohammed Salisu in defence.

The talk about Ghana’s midfield was who partners Partey and upfront, an attack duo of Inaki Williams and Kudus.
However, Otto Addo played the 4-2-3-1 formation, using Inaki upfront.
We can only expect the lineup for the Portugal clash on November 24.
