Christopher Bonsu Baah says Ghana’s current form has the Black Stars fully believing they will qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The 20-year-old Genk winger shone at the Unity Cup in London, making a strong impression on his senior debut against Nigeria before dazzling again versus Trinidad and Tobago.
With Ghana leading their qualifying group on 15 points and four games left to play, Bonsu Baah says there’s growing belief within the team.
“I think it will not mean a lot to only me, for my family and for the nation, everyone, because Ghana qualifying to the World Cup is something big for the nation,” Baah told Joy Sports.
“Not only us but every country, when you hear or when you see like you are in the World Cup, it is something big for everyone, so I think it will mean a lot for us.
“We are 100% confident that we are going to qualify. For me, I think it’s every player’s dream to be part of the national team squad to the World Cup.”
The Black Stars will return to action in September when the qualifiers resume.
