Black Queens head coach Kim Lars Björkegren has assured Ghanaians of a win against Morocco in the upcoming FIFA international friendly.
Ghana’s senior women’s national team will face Morocco’s Atlas Lionesses on Friday in Casablanca as part of preparations for the 2025 WAFCON.
Coach Björkegren acknowledged that facing Morocco will be a tough challenge, but he emphasized that the primary goal of the exercise is to improve in key areas and build a formidable team for the future.
“Morocco is a good team with a lot of talent. Playing away from home will be a challenge, especially with our new coaching staff and players.
“But we’re focused on building for the long term, learning from our mistakes, and preparing for the summer tournament. We’ll work hard to win, but we’re also looking at the bigger picture.”
Ghana will take on Morocco at 17:00 Hrs at the Père Jégo Stadium in Casablanca on Friday.
