Asante Kotoko striker Kwame Opoku has said that the team’s primary goal is to win the 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League title.
Despite a rocky start to the season, the Porcupine Warriors have regained their footing, finishing the first round in third place with 31 points.
Their recent 4-1 victory over Vision FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in a week 17 fixture has lifted them into third place.
“Every big club aims to win the Premier League title and that is our aim,” he said.
“We want to win the Premier League at the end of the season and that is our target.”
Opoku recently rejoined Kotoko from Algerian side USM Algier on a two-and-a-half-year deal and has announced presence in the Ghanaian topflight netting 4 goals in three games.
