Iñaki Williams is already looking ahead to next season’s Champions League with Athletic Club after his club secured their place among Europe’s elites – a first time in more than a decade.

The forward believes his side are on the right track and ready to excel in the Champions League next season.

Under Ernesto Valverde’s guidance, the team has impressed in La Liga, earning a coveted Champions League spot.

Despite being eliminated in the Europa League semifinals, Athletic Bilbao’s strong performance has set the stage for a successful Champions League campaign.

“We know that as we continue growing as a team, our performance is being recognized, and we hope that next season we can put together a good campaign in the Champions League,” Williams said.

The team aims to consistently compete at the highest level, with Williams determined to make a strong impact.

“We want to fight to qualify again for the Champions League,” he added.

Williams also wants to make a deep run in the Copa del Rey, a competition dear to Athletic fans.

“And of course the Copa del Rey too… That’s the dream of every Athletic fan: to see us play well and give a good account of ourselves.”
