2024 WAFCON: Six venues named for continental showpiece

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced six stadiums in Morocco to host the 2025 TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), scheduled from July 5 to 26, 2025. The selected venues are:

  1. Olympic Stadium (Rabat)
  2. Larbi Zaouli Stadium (Casablanca)
  3. Père Jégo Stadium (Casablanca)
  4. El Bachir Stadium (Mohammédia)
  5. Berkane Stadium (Berkane)
  6. Honor Stadium (Oujda)

These stadiums have undergone upgrades and have hosted recent CAF competitions. The tournament will feature improved broadcast coverage and digital interaction. The group stage draw has also been announced, with teams divided into three groups:

  • Group A: Morocco, Zambia, Senegal, DR Congo
  • Group B: Nigeria, Tunisia, Algeria, Botswana
  • Group C: South Africa, Ghana, Mali, Tanzania
