Asante Kotoko head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum expressed disappointment after his team’s 1-1 draw with Medeama SC, stating that the result did not reflect their performance.
The Porcupine Warriors took the lead in the 44th minute through Kwame Opoku, but Medeama equalized in the second half with a strike from substitute Kamaradini Mamudu, forcing both teams to share the points in their matchday 16 clash at Tarkwa’s TNA Park.
“The scoreline is not a true reflection of the game. We had several chances and should have won the game,” Ogum said in his post-match interview.
The result saw Kotoko miss an opportunity to climb to the top of the Ghana Premier League standings.
The Porcupines face Vision FC in their next encounter at the Baba Yara Stadium.
