We need a national debate to fix Black Stars problems – Kudjo Fianoo

In the awake of Ghana’s abysmal performance at the 2023 African Cup of Nations, Ghana League Club Association chairman Kudjo Fianoo believes the decline in form can be solved through national debate.

Ghana, unable to secure a victory in any of their group games, finished third in Group B and eventually got booted out from the group stages.

In response to the team’s poor performance, the GFA took swift action by dismissing Hughton and the entire Black Stars technical team.

“We need a national debate to fix this issue. I believe that the way we do things, the call-ups, the quality of the players, and their discipline should all be carefully examined” he said on Akoma FM.

A five-member committee has been established by the FA to spearhead the search for a new coach for the national team.
