We don’t deserve such poor performance in Ghana Premier League – Kotoko midfielder Baba Yahaya

Asante Kotoko midfielder Baba Yahaya has expressed his displeasure about his outfit recent performance in the Ghana Premier League.

The Porcupine Warriors has been in dismal form since the resumption of the domestic top-flight campaign. They have gone four matches without a win for the first time in 14 years, resulting in a downturn in form.

After six games in the second round, Kotoko find themselves in 10th position on the league standings, winning just a game and losing five in the process.

Speaking to the club’s media, the former King Faisal marksman asserted his outfit does not deserve such poor performance in the league and is eyeing a quick turnaround.

“As a bid club, we don’t deserve such poor performance in the Ghana Premier League. We engaged ourselves on how we can turn things around as soon as possible” he told the club’s media.

The Porcupine Warriors will face the Hunters on Saturday at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park as both teams aim for maximum points in the upcoming fixture.
