We could have done better- Black Stars coach Otto Addo after Uganda draw

Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo is not pleased with Ghana’s performance against Uganda in the international friendly.

The four times African Champions recorded a 2-2 draw with the Cranes after conceding in the dying embers of the match by Muhammad Shaban.

Defender Jerome Opoku and striker Jordan Ayew in the first half but Steven Mukwala scored a penalty to reduce the deficit.

“We have to get over it. There was a good learning today, there were some good parts but…to play 2-2 against Uganda, we expect more”

“We could have done better…in all, the football we played was not good enough. We should have created more chances.”

Ghana’s next game is against Mali in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Mali in June.
