Division one

Black Princesses midfielder Helen Alormenu is hopeful of the team progressing to the final round and making it to the 2024 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup.

She spoke to the media ahead of the first leg encounter against Eswatini.

“We are very much prepared for the game even though we know very little about the Eswatini team. We will do our best and work according to what coach has taught us and get the maximum points here” Alormenu said.

“The players are all ready and I know we will make it to the next stage”

“Most of the players in the squad have not been to the World Cup and it is our hope and dream to represent Ghana at the highest level”

”It won’t be an easy game but if we go according to what our head coach and technical team have thought us, we will win” she added.

The game is scheduled for Sunday, November 12,2023 at 15H00 local time.
