Hearts of Oak board chairman Togbe Afede XIV has surprisingly jumped to the defence of under-siege board members Alhaji Akanbi and Vincent Odotei Sowah.

The former Member of Parliament of La Dadekotopon, in the Greater Accra Region, has told Otuo Acheampong in an exclusive interview that he is only working at the office of the Executive Board Chairman Togbe Afede XIV and carries out his instructions.

Odotei has come under immense heat together with board members Alhaji Akanbi and Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe with some irate fans deflating the car tyres of Odotei on Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

A section of the club’s followers have called for the resignation of the three personalities after the club’s abysmal display in the CAF Confederation Cup.
