Ghanaian striker John Antwi continued his fine scoring form by netting the equalizer in Ismaily’s 1-1 draw at El Minah on Wednesday afternoon.
Amr Osman scored a superb volley to snatch the opener for the hosts on 21 minutes before Antwi struck to earn a point for the visitors.
Antwi beat the offside trap and collected a pass inside the box from midfielder.
He then rounded up the El Minah goalkeeper and connected with his left foot into the net.
The point earned ensured Ismaily moved to second place with 16 points; four behind Group B leaders Petrojet
Antwi is now second on the scorers chart with five goals alongside three others; one less than top scorer Mohamed Salim.
