Newly-signed Havre Athletic Club player and Black Stars captain, Andre Dede Ayew, was formally introduced to an ecstatic crowd at the Stade Oceane on Saturday night.
The unveiling took place during half-time in the Week 12 fixture of the 2023-2024 Ligue 1 season between Le Havre and AS Monaco, which ultimately concluded in a goalless draw.
Andre was introduced to the enthusiastic crowd, earning him a standing ovation from the spectators.
Acknowledging the warm reception from the fans, the 33-year-old waved to the crowd, expressing his gratitude for the support.
While Andre is yet to be fully involved in team activities, his return from international duties with Ghana is expected to mark his full integration into Havre Athletic Club’s team.
Ayew is set to join the Black Stars for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, facing Madagascar on November 17 and Comoros on November 21.
His participation in these international fixtures will likely provide Ayew with additional opportunities to test his fitness levels for the French league.
