Dreams FC head coach, Abdul Karim Zito, has described their recent 2-0 victory over Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League as a significant boost ahead of their upcoming CAF Confederations Cup semifinal against Zamalek.
Following the win at the Theatre of Dreams in the week 26 fixture, Coach Zito expressed optimism about the positive impact the result has on his team’s morale.
The Still Believe lads are set to travel to Egypt to face Zamalek in the first leg of the semifinals this coming weekend.
“It’s a big booster for my boys ahead of our game against Zamalek because if you look at matches before Africa we never won,” Zito added.
“So I think we want to change the trend and as I have been saying all the time, football gives you the opportunity to make amendments o to improve upon the previous games.”
Dreams FC stands 14th in the league with 31 points after 25 games, with one outstanding match against Legon Cities.
